It's a disease I tell you! Oh no not again...

This is an update on one of my older posts

This morning I checked Craig's List and saw something that caught my interest..

$300 delivered to my house. A 1450 with some goodies.

Getting crowded..

Power angle blade is a real goodie! Wheel weights a bonus also.

Was told it was running last year..

I really like working on them and just couldn't help myself. All the tin work is there and is actually more complete than the 1650. BTW, my hood I bought for my 1650 came today and it is in really nice shape. I am waiting for some other little parts for the 1650 and I should be able to finish it up soon. Then I get to start on my newest project...

Looks like it just unscrewed and is gone.. threads are there. All I need it a new stick to screw on.

The wood front roller is still on the mower deck... Now I have two decks to work with. My 1650 deck didn't have a front roller and didn't look like it had one to begin with, but it has to rollers on the outsides of the front.. This new (to me) deck has a roller but not the outside front rollers. Maybe if you have the two outside you don't get the wide center front one.. :bigthink:

I put a middle roller on the 1650 deck anyway.

WOW that is a great deal. What impressed me the most was the remote option on the blade, that is a rarity. I saw, for the hydraulic cylinder alone, prices topping 100+ at Red Power Round Up in June (and there was only maybe 2 available.) You did very well!

Is the missing stick for the dual setup something I might be able to find online or is it something I will have to make? What would it's official name be?

Nice score and an even better price !!

Maybe you could find the rod for the dual hydro , but people usually sell all of the dual hydro parts together , BIG $$$$ !!

I would just take a piece of rod and cut some threads on both ends. Really no difference IMO , except the OG handle was chrome plated.

You can get the tapered handles here ...

I really like the help you guys give. If any of you have any questions on old British motorcycles or Oriental Carpets ask away... :beerchug:

I am really tempted to throw some gas in it and trying to start it but I think I will check everything before I do. (But darn, the temptation is really great)
