Lift Rod Length for 54" Blade

I recently purchased a 54" blade for my 1650, but it came without the lift rod.
Does anyone know what length the lift rod should be?

Your best bet is to put the tractor up on 2x4s, set the blade on the ground, and put the lift all the way down. Measure between the holes and that's your length.

I just use stainless chain and the screw type end links on mine. I kept bending and breaking the rods ,trying to pile the snow up. With the chain I have found I can pile it higher because the blade can ride the pile up as high as it wants to.
