New here with a 1710

Got a 1710 looks almost brand new only a couple hundred hours, but unfortunately it needs an engine....coming soon though; and there are also a lot of emplements for it on the horizon too. I will get some pics of it up here soon too.

LOL! That's the plan. It's got a KT17 Series I in it with a window in the block. Can't seem to find a good running motor that we can get our hands on. All of them I find either are too far away and they won't ship. Or they want a ridiculous amount of money for it. Neither one of us want to buy a new motor. I'd rather find a M18 or good Series II that needs rebuilt. I did find a brand new "in the box" kohler twin on e-bay the other day. Don't remember if it was a KT or an M, purchased new, never used. Like $2700........... Seemed high :bigthink: LOL!
