Clutch adjustment PTO

When my blower gets loaded down on my 782, I see the chain slow down, but the engine doesn't lug anymore. The belt is not squesling, so I assume the clutch is slipping. Do I need to adjust this, or is it normal?

THis year is hard on the ol snowblower and I am learning alot!

Just a guess here as to your problem,
but if the belt is not sufficiently tight, and/or it is getting snow on it, it will slip silently.
Normally the pto will not slip right down to stall of the engine (at least on mine)
But if it has oil on it for some reason, then it will slip.
no harm ment here:
But I would say that I can't see my chain slowing down when it is running, allowing for normal slowing from the load of heavy snow, I wonder if you are really seeing yours slow down abnormally. Now if the auger is almost stopping yes, that I understand.

Your oil comment made me go "DUH"! I have a previous post asking about an oil leak from my front seal. Now I get it!

Thanks.
