127 snow blower
i am wanting to put a snow blower on my 127 or 123 both narrow frame and I ran across one for a wide frame. I was wondering is there a easy way to make it fit ? http://southbend.craigslist.org/grd/4100556824.html This is the one I found.

If it is a QA42A it will fit after you adjust the width it is adjustable between wide frame and narrow frame, although I bought mine for $80 and there are 2 others for sale in my area one more for $80 and one for $75 so at that price It is all up to you to decide but make sure you get everything and the gearbox has no play in it, should have a lift rod a rod to turn the chute and if your tractor doesn't already have a piece bolted to the bottom of your lift lever on the tractor with a hole for the lift rod. And a belt

$300 is somewhat high, most can get them for about $100-$150 (mine was $150). It looks to be in good shape so I'd say if you can get it for $200 it'd be worth it, otherwise walk away.

I'm with the other guys, that's a bit steep. It's a really nice blower, and I might give $200 for it, but there are better deals out there. I bought a model 450 2-stage blower in better shape with weights and chains from a Cub Cadet DEALER and only paid $250. My single stage I gave about $75 for. :beerchug:

i agree, 65-125 seems the going rate around here.
the guy i bought my 72 from had a 36" blower for a narrow frame for 65 bucks that looked darn near new.......i did not want a blower, so i told my friend about it and he picked it up. |
The closer to winter we get, the higher the prices go...........
