This Cub has come up and I am tempted...
I keep telling myself that I need to stop buying more strays but this just came up..
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...pse275a89d.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...pscbc103c8.jpg A 149. Owner claims it has power lift for front attachments. By the photo it does look like a hydro lift stick. How much is a Cozy Cab worth? I know if I go and check it out I would probably bring it home. Doesn't look like it would need much work. Thanks for looking. |
:beerchug: I don't think I could walk away from that one either.

Didn't sam or somebody else build one from scratch?:bigthink:

I checked and all 149 had power lifts... Be nice if it had a power angle option for the blade. I have a dual stick 1450 with a power angle blade. I guess I could switch it over but will probably not.

Looks like a clean tractor!:beer2:

No mule drive or mower. Has chains though. Having not to have to tear it apart to fix things would be a bonus. I wonder if the hydro fan is busted? Everyone I have bought had the fan busted. If using it for snow, a fan would not be that important I guess.

what mike said, and i would buy it:beerchug:

Nice cub! Hope you get it.

I won't spend someone else's money, but it does look like a really nice cub. The blade is worth about $75-$125, the cab is probably somewhere around $350-$500, and the chains are another $30 or so......A good working 149 without deck or anything like that would probably sell for about $300-$450 in my area. Hope that helps you make a more informed decision. Let us know if you score it. Certainly looks to be well taken care of by the PO.

It is a really sharp tractor. I keep watching for a cab. But none keep coming up that are within driving distance of me. I dunno.... Is it really so bad to buy another cub?...... |
