New shop stuff!!!
 

Well the wife broke down and LET ME get a few items for the shop. I bought a new Mig with spool gun, drill press, Cheep Plasma, but it works great, new grinder, and a few other small items. Now I can start trying to do some of my own fabrication. I have wanted to start doing some of my own work for a long time. Use to work with a friend that is an amazing fabricator, and he kinda got me interested in it. Ill shoot some pix when I get it all set up .I know other than the Mig there not Big brand names, But for the amount of use they will get as just a hobby they will work just fine.:rolleyes:

I've hit farm sales and have found really nice stuff. Drill press with the different pulleys on top to change drill speed, vices, nice big anvil, bench grinders.. ect...

I still use a hedge trimmer that is all heavy metal (craftsman), don't know how old but at least 40 years and works better than any new plastic one. Will cut a lot thicker hedge that the others would chock on.

Don't get me wrong, new tools are great, I have a set of pullers and a nice set of tap and dies coming in this week. Just like XMas.. :beerchug:

When I need something done right, I just go visit SamMac. :bigthink:
