Early style Haban caster bushing replacement.
 

I recently picked up a pair of early style Haban front casters. They both needed new bushings. Easy and cheap job. Knock out the bushing with a punch and a hammer, clean the bores out and press the new bushing in. Got them from McMaster Carr part number is 2938T55 cost $12.16 for 4 of them. So if your early 60” Haban has the front wheel wobbles have at it. Oh and they are longer than the factory bushings so they support the caster better. I just built these up for spares for my deck if I ever trash one.

A pic of yesterdays finished small projects. From the left two re-bushed deck wheels, two idlers with new bearings, the Haban casters and the flywheel back on the Vanguard with a new used ring gear. Just getting stuff I have put off all summer finished up. Now that I have a good ring gear for the Vanny I will fix it up and see if it will run.:beerchug:
