Model 71 42" Deck Rebuild

I have a 42" mower deck ('63-'68 deck w/cast ends). Went to mow tonight and realized that I now have to rebuild the RH spindle. Any ideas on buying a complete spindle rebuild kit for all three spindles? I went to PartsTree and got the individ. part #'s, but would like to buy everything together if possible. Any help as to where to get a kit would be appreciated. I checked several sites and the parts are pretty expensive.

Anyone have any ideas on spindle rebuild kits, per my earlier post?

TMK, They do not make a kit. Yes, bearings can be expensive. Best bet, a bearing company. Or, buy an already rebuilt set. I have a set of those spindles that I was planning to rebuild and sell. PM me if interested and I will get you a price.

I rebuilt my 42" cast end deck a few years ago. I am almost positive that the bearings and races are the exact same parts as the front outer wheel bearings for a 2wd Chevy S-10. They will probably be cheaper from an auto parts store. The only place I could find the seals was from the Cub dealer. They were around $8-10 each. None of the parts stores or even Motion Industries could find a seal that was the right size and style.
