Narrow Frame 3 point adaptor bracket
Hey all,
I picked up a rear lift for my 127 but I couldn't get the narrow frame 3 point adapter bracket. Seems like something I could easily fabricate if I had the correct dimensions. Does anyone have a detail of the part? or could possibly measure theirs? Thanks, Jeff |

Are you referring to part #8 in the diagram? Jason |
Jason,
Yep, Part #8. I'm pretty sure I can come up with the bends from the tractor and the lift casting but the hole placement, thickness, and clearances would help. Thanks, Jeff Quote:
Edit: Actually I'm not sure if the part in the diagram is the correct. I'm pretty certain this is the part I need. http://ccspecialties.org/nfliftcastingbracket_small.jpg |
Jeff,
Hmmm...I'm not sure. The diagram I posted was for the 127 from the cub cadet parts look up site online. Maybe one of the experts will chime in. I got this very bracket (home made) when I bought my 3pt hitch set up for my 73. I don't need it and think it's still lying around in my garage. I can't remember now if it looks like your picture, or the diagram. At any rate, I'll look and see if I can find it. If you could use it, I'll give it to you for actual shipping costs. Jason |
Jason,
I'd greatly appreciate that! I'm with you on which bracket I actually need. I would assume if the diagram is from a 127 parts lookup that its the correct part or they just didn't bother changing the picture from another tractor. Thanks again, Jeff Quote:

Jason,
I'm pretty sure I just saw your listing on craigslist. I might have to stop up and visit you! :biggrin2.gif: |
That parts lookup drawing is inaccurate. That piece isn't drawn right. The posted photo is the right part. You have to be careful with the parts diagrams, as they have many errors.

Not sure what #8 in the illistration is for, any that I've had on 1X6/7's are like this though.
