I hope all are safe after yesterday's storms.
I don't know if any here were in the tornado's paths yesterday but I wish all is well.

We had several tornado's here in Illinois. None hit here thank God! We did however have 50MPH+ straight line winds. All the toys in the yard were blowing away and I literally chased them across the field. While I was out chasing some of the stuff, our Little Tykes play house got picked up, thrown into the van, and out in the field :bash2::bash2: Now we have a nice dent in the van. Other than that we survived! Hope all is well with our other members! :beerchug:

Hope everyone fared well also.

The wind blew (and it is still blowing steady) last night/yesterday and we lost power for about 12 hrs. Doing well, some fared not as well.

I understand that Roland will be without power till sometime Wednesday. Hope he this doesn't cause any major problems for him. I find it ironic that the guy that answers so many electrical questions now has no power, that’s just not right.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully he has a generator.

It's unbelievable the destruction that we are seeing on the news.
My thoughts & prayers are directed to those that were affected. God bless to give them strength in dealing with this destruction at hand. Only thing we did is to make a donation to Salvation Army directed to those affected. NIK & Anita , Prayers are needed! |
My parents live near Washburn which is about 15-20 miles north of Washington. All they had was heavy rain and wind. No tornado. I have been seeing some pics of the destruction. OMG! I used to drive down some of those streets.
