Cool Stuff
Nice work there 02dmaxx;
I love building stuff for my CCs. We need to see more of this on this site. CadetFarmer |
Very nice work 02dmax. It all looks strong and very functional. If I may ask, about the tiller tines. What material did you use, and how did you bend the curve to the final shape. Did you have to heat treat following bending? Also, I like the wheel weights. You must have a pretty good size lathe to cut the rotors to size. Would you mind explaining the process as to how you made these. Thanks and great work.

The rotors happen to be the exact same size as the wheels,they fit right inside the lip around the wheel quite snug.I just cut a circle out of a piece of 1/8 steel and welded them in the centers,which it just so happens the welds cracked (steel to iron). I used some pipe,1/2 I.D. and the depth of the rotors over two of the existing lug holes and filled the rest with concrete.Originally the weights could be mounted the other way,so they wouldn't stick out so far,but I beefed up the mounting stock and now they hit. |
