So if I'm reading correctly this belt will be a 3/8" by 28" ?

That looks to be correct. The Gates belt part number is 6728.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the 147 Mechanical PTO 1/2, and not 3/8? :bigthink:

Yes, 3/8 x28

There are two types though.

Just a little bit off topic, but is the electric PTO on a Quietline going to be 3/8 as well?

Edit: Wait, I thought there were only 2 sizes of PTO pulley's ever used, 1/2 and 5/8? Where does 3/8 come in?

darkminion_17 11-27-2013 11:10 AM

there are 3 sizes of pulleys
One for the NF WF .One for the Ql wide frame, and one for the 82 series.

The first one was changed to 1/2" after the CC 36 and 42 for the 1/2" belt

So would that make all pre-Quietline's 1/2 inch, Quietline's 3/8 inch, and 82 series 5/8 inch?
