Quiet line 1200 assessment

So i need everyones input on the value of this 1200- and yes Im including pix! Im not sure how to read the hour meter so i am unsure how many hours are on her?? But she has a snow blade, 36in blower and headlights. Also its a 3 speed not a hydro. In the one picture one of the engine covers is off but it is not missing. I dont know much about it but its my girlfriends fathers who bought it last year and he has yet to use it. Just sits in his shop hence the dust.

Wow, that looks like it's in good shape!! Assuming everything works as it should, I'd value that (around my parts, anyway) for about $600-$700. I'm figuring about $200 for the blower, $100 for the blade, and about $300-$400 for the tractor.

So if he is asking 1000 I should tell him he is off his rocker huh

Don't tell him that or you will be looking for a new girlfriend.:biggrin2:

It may have only 220 hrs on it,how clean is the motor and the muffler?Does it have the original tires on it with the little nubs sticking out the side of them?

Not necessairly. Different regions denote different prices. Like I said, around my parts (central, Iown, Illinois, Indiana). But as darkminion_17 said, it could be practically brand new, although I doubt it. If it is, or has that few hours (meter could have rolled over or more once meaning it's 820 or 1620 hours) then it'd absolutely be worth the $1000 asking price.

Bottom line: check out the tires for nubs and wait for others to replay with there estimated values. :beerchug:

Edit: Do you know how much he paid for it?

He paid 750 for it.

$1000 around these parts is about 500 too much.

Howdy! Well, this IH Cub Cadet 1200 looks clean from this side. Imagine this: no hydro problems to be considered! Don't have enough information to determine if its worth 1k or not. I was surprised to see the sticker still on the mule drive bracket. But when you look at the average Joe -blow lawn tractors selling for 1k, I'd much rather go with the IH Cub Cadet every time!

That's a sweet Q/L, looks almost new to me. If say 6 to 7 hundred but others are right, its all about location............ So can someone school me as to how to read that meter? I'm seeing 244 but you guys are saying 220. Help me O be wan kanobi.

Edit: I got it now, white is minute hand counting to sixty, and others designate what looks to be right at 217 ish?

Package may be worth $500 providing the motor mounts and clutch is in good shape.
It looks to be a later production 1200. Front rims look to have the 1 inch axles.
