100 Gas Tank Color

I am in the process of restoring a 100. The gas tank that was on there when I got it was white. I have another 100 parts tractor that had a yellow gas tank on it. Does anyone know the correct color of the gas tank and straps for a 100?

i too painting a tank, yellow. what about the side-shields? i painted them but suppose the motor operates better {cooler} without them. i think it would be better for the motor if they were not there. any thoughts?:American Flag 1:

If you are talking about the shields on the motor the motor will run cooler if you leave the shields on.
Kohler put those shields on for a reason.
