Wheel weight bolts

I am a new owner of a 107. first cadet. I have a set of IH wheel weights could any one tell me what size bolts I need?

:Welcome2: I'm not for sure on the bolt size (haven't had to put a set on in years), but the length depends on the width of your rims. I use carriage bolts in mine since the square seats nicely in the rim from the back.

Depends. How wide are your rims? I was going to put weights on my 1250 but my rims were too wide so I just put everything on my 1450 because the rims were stock. You can also use thread rod, you can make that as long as you want, I had to do that because I was missing some bolts. You can probably find long bolts at a hardware or fleet store same with thread rod. I hope this helped and I hope to get back to you. Or someone else will help. :beerchug:

1/2" Carriage bolts will do the trick. Be sure and get 'em long enough. Can always cut the excess off you know. Nylock nuts and flat washers also.

1/2" carriage bolts are what you need. As others have said the length depends on the rims. Easy to measure. I get mine from the local lumber yard. They are galvanized and used for deck building. They come in many lengths.

A 6" carriage bolt would be fine if you have 8.500 tires

Thanks for the help. 1/2x6 did the trick. Of course in my inventory I only had 3/8 and 5/8 carriage bolts. Trip to tractor supply did the trick.
