Which cub?
 

I like hearing opinions, so here are my choices:

Currently I have a 1450 with dual hydraulics and also a 1650, and a 782/784 (yellow).

The 784 has a deck and blade.

The other two have a blade and a QA42A blower that will swap as needed

I found a 169 with a cab and a blower and due to some strange yellow fever virus, is attractive to me.

Here is the question: I want to get down to only one. Otherwise the second one is just going to set outside.

The 1450 will be sold. Originally this was going to be done after swapping out the hydraulics to the 1650. But with the 782/784 I dont need to.

For the winter Im running the 782 with the blade and the 1650 with the blower. But as I say, one of them has to set out all the time.

I could sell them all and try to buy the 169. Would need to pick up a blade, and it wouldnt have dual hydraulics (unless I stole from the 1450 again). But if a 169, I would want to restore it (or preserve it at a minimum), so not inclined to cut and hack on it (although Im confident a top notch job can be done). And the 169 is going to be harder to find parts, etc.

I could go ahead and convert the 1650 to dual hydraulics and keep that one and switch back and forth between the blade and the blower.

I could just keep the 782.

Im not going to bring $$ into it much, since there isnt all that much difference in them all. The 169 is more, but if selling three to get one it works. So I just have to watch the ongoing $ outflow.

What I do with it: snow removal. hauling rocks, firewood around a hilly/rocky lot. dragging logs. push a little dirt from time to time. Would love to get a firewood splitter on it somehow but more likely just a dedicated machine for that. Two tractors are convenient for snow time, but otherwise I cant keep two busy enough.

I know I know... most of you are going to suggest building a shed to keep them all. The wife unit wouldnt object to the shed, but if it then filled up with tractors I couldnt use it might be a different story. And if I get a 'pet', my kids would prefer a dog to a tractor....

Opinions please.

Here is my opinion...........keep the 784

782 is and always will be MY favorite. I say keep the 782 as well!

Twin cylinder, newer, can run any of your attachments with ease, plus looks the best to boot :biggrin2: :beerchug:

I agree, but that doesn't solve your dilemma. Why not set this up as a poll?

I'd rid myself of the 784 IMO.

I'd keep the QL's, add a 1250, put hydraulics on 'em all, Buy a nice big heavy tarp AND get the 169 to keep stock.

keep the 1450 dual hydraulics

I'd keep the 782, if you can't keep them all.
