Spindle washers on 38A Mower Deck
Greetings, Cub Cadet Gurus:
I have all the spindles out and disassembled for my 38A deck. I USUALLY take good notes on how I take stuff apart, but forgot this time DOH!!!:Forgot: My manual only shows one regular and one "friction" washer per spindle, but now that I have those washers separated and de-gunked, it appears that I have 2 of each per spindle. My best guess on how these go back together from the spindle cup/spindle cap assembly down would be the spindle spacer, flat washer, friction washer, blade, friction washer, flat washer, then nut. Am I somewhere close to correct ? ? ? ? I am thoroughly confuse-ed at this point. :confused2.gif":HeadScratch: Thanks in advance and regards to all Cubby Guy |
Try this http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=c...&dn=0062660007
If that doesn't do it, try looking in the tech section, somewhere around here there are other exploded views of mower decks. |
Thanks, Sam
I didn't find any more detail, but I tried it late last night, and flat/friction/blade/friction/flat/nut seems to be the correct way. I didn't torque it down all the way, but that seems to work. Regards Cubby Guy |
