What can I do with this ?

I was at the farm and I came across this in the weeds. At first, I thought it was a plow but it doesn't look like one I've ever seen. I thought "hey maybe I can do something with this", so I grabbed it. Now it sits on the bench waiting for the the torch/welder to get to it.

Anybody got any ideas?

It appears to be some type of moldboard plow. never seen anything quite like it before. :bigthink: Mount your mailbox post to it.

mailbox art, not bad.

i took a another look at it and it appears to have a broken edge. it might be a plow with half the moldboard missing.

A very old plow with a fitted share, and a broken moldboard.
looks a lot like a walking plow.
I don't think you will ever find a moldboard for it.

You could mount that on the front of your car/truck and move snow out of your way with it.:biggrin2: Or use it for a boat anchor. Or give drop it off at an artist (or your local HS art department) along with a picture of the farm you got it off of and pay them to paint a picture of the farm on the shield of it. Or get a circular piece of glass cut, about 2.5' in diameter, use some old barn framing to help make an end table out of. Let your imagination be your guide.

So far my favorite answers are: Mailbox post, and boat anchor! :biggrin2::biggrin2:

I like boat anchor. Along the same lines would be doorstop, paper weight, and wheel chock. If you flip it on its side with the landslide (landside?) down, and put it at your back door you can scrape your boots on it before you walk in.

maybe i should get this thread moved to the jokes and humor section.

LMAO!
Well, lets be honest Ken, it's too big for a cub. Other than a decoration, there isn't much you can do with it. :bigthink:
