Earthway Garden Seeder
Has anyone had any experience with the Earthway seeder? I know it's not actually an implement but it can be made to pull behind a cub.

I have taken an earthway garden seeder and made it into a pull type planter. I will try and take some pictures and post them. It was created last year and some of bugs still need to get worked out, but we did get stuff to come up. It really important the seedbed is really clean and the soils fine. I believe my issues stemed from a poorly prepared seedbed.

I have one and IMHO I think it is a POS but maybe I'm not using it properly. There are a million of them out there so they must be okay. Has anybody here had good luck with them?

We've used one for as long as I can remember for our gardens..... I think it works really good for a $80 planter!

I've used one for two seasons now, and I'm pretty happy. They are the best tool for the price and really straight forward to use. Sometimes tiny round seeds like arugula can get behind the plate, and I also think the beets plate spits out an inappropriate amount of seeds, but I'm going to try and modify it so it uses less seed. We'll be getting 3 or 4 more this season so we can bolt them together. We'll mount them right next to each other for planting cover crops, and we'll also connect them using a bar and clamps and a threaded rod thru the back axel so we can plant 2-3 rows per bed at different spacing which will giver us straight rows that make cultivating easier (with a wheel hoe). Take time preparing your seedbed, it saves time in the long run.
