The 782 is now a 1482
I got to drive the the 1482 around the back yard a little this afternoon. I still need to lower the mounting bracket for the electric fuel pump so the air cleaner will go on and check timing and do carb adjustment. I had made a new driveshaft for the 782 and it worked just fine with this engine. I used 1450 style engine mounting rails that I had modified with the 1/4" strap across them. The supplemental steel engine mounts that are required for this installation landed right on top of the 1/4" strap at the front, so I had to modify the front tab on them by cutting 1/4" out of them an re-welding. New iso-mounts were installed. The bottom of the gas tank is below the fuel intake port on the carb so I had to install an electric pump. I will probably have to wait several days before I can do much more. I have been working outdoors on this and it is supposed to be messy and pretty chilly for the next few days.
