What a mess!

Another foot of snow last night:

Then rain on top of it this morning. The good fortune is that at the moment I have a tractor with a blade, and another with a blower. The blade isnt enough to clear it when its a foot deep and heavy.

But then when its like this morning, two inches deep and raining, the blade is the only thing that works.

TWO tractors, set up with each, makes it possible. Fun even (unless its 5:30am and I need to go to work)

But I dont have room inside for two tractors so one sits out..... a dilemma. Swapping from blade to blower and back all the time isnt something I am likely to enjoy.

I moved this to the general talk area with the other snow threads.

Think we are all ready for spring. I feel your pain dealing with wet snow. :beerchug:

I getting ready to go out and plow what drifted in last night and do an elderly neighbors drive.

Uh huh..... :bigthink:

Winter has felt pretty 'normal' here in Boston, I know other parts of the US has gotten much more unusual weather.

I should convince my wife we 'need' another building so I can keep another tractor in it.

Also wondering about a stand to make a swap from blade to blower a quick/easy proposition.

I haven't used my cub for snow removal since sunday night. I've been moving snow on average every 3-5 days since late november. Even this morning we got a dusting, but not enough to fire up the cadet. I think I've gotten more seat time moving snow than I did all the other months mowing grass/doing other chores.
