What front tires on 100 are you running?
Hello everyone. I have a 100 and am ready to replace the front tires. They are 4.8x4-8. Turf style, tri-rib, firestone turf guide, other? I want something that is a quality tire and figured I would use a tube even if it is a tubeless. I have had better luck with a tube. What is everyone running and do they like them or would they have done something different. Thanks for any advice.

I have tri-ribs on most of my tractors and they steer great (also re-greasing the steering box helps a lot )
plus I like the look |

I don't have tri ribs on all of my Cubs, but I'm workin on it.

I've got a mix of tri-ribs, turf tires, multi-rib and ags. Variety is the spice of life, I say, but I'm no purist, so it works for me.

Tri ribs seem like the way to go. Thanks everyone. We'll I ordered the firestone turf glide tires because I like the way they look, I live in the burbs so won't be using the 100 for any "real" work. Simply playing and having fun with the old boy. I assume most people are using the chevron style rear tires along with the ribbed fronts. Does anyone know what rear tires originally came on the 100? I might as well go that route since I got the old style fronts. I see the company I ordered the fronts from sell firestone town and country rears that look like the rears in some old advertisements. Are these correct or are there other options? Thanks again for the input.
