Tool bar for farm store de-thacher
2 Attachment(s)
I ditched the wheel and up-down lever and built a sleeve hitch type tool bar to mount the de-thatcher on. This way I can operate it from the drivers seat with out having to twist myself into a pretzel or dismount to raise the unit to cross drives, sidewalks or streets plus you can back into corners and tight spots you otherwise could not access with a tag along unit.
Works really slick with a hydraulic lift and two 45# weights centered on the deck Be tween me and my neighbors we did about 75,000 square feet in a few hours with my 1450 and they followed up with their sweepers. Will consider building these for sale if there is enough interest. Sleeve hitch (which I can also build) and 3 point required. |
Nice work! Looks like it did a great job.

Well howdy neighbor! You really got something there! Mounted equipment is the way to go! Would you be selling a complete unit or the mounting brkt?

Just the tool bar with the sleeve hitch, unless you need the sleeve hitch horseshoe, straps and hanger components also.
I also have a mounted aerator in the works. That's my own junky old de-thatcher!! Thanks! |
Looks good to me. :beerchug:
