Rebuilding some Rolls Royce hydraulic pumps at work today and I was looking for a magic wrench to put the rear one back in. I was digging through the boss's tool boxes and found this!! It didn't work on the Bentley though. :crap:

My grandma has a large socket set thats IH brand, it is a 3/4 inch drive I believe and the sockets are from 1"-2.5" in size, very huge, also have one 3/8s? Drive ratchet and one extension and some 3/8" drive sockets. I'll try to snap a pic.

If I remember correctly International used to market tools to farmers. I can remember going to a dealer when I was in my early teens and seeing the display.

This is a 1/2" wrench that was on ebay back in 2004.
I had my eye on it until bidding went over $20, LOL.
Final bid was $100

I knew I saved that pic for a reason 10 years ago and this thread is it.

Never seen on with those markings.
That might be a IH factory worker issued wrench.
Did your boss work for IH at one time?

Not that I know of. If I ask him about it he may get suspicious when it goes missing :biggrin2:

The tools IH sold in the 70's were made by Wright, we still have and use a bunch of them. We've got a small IH toolbox, don't know who was making the boxes for them. Wright used to honor a warranty on the wrenches, but that stopped many years ago.

That just proves that IH is first class, Wright tools is Snap on's industrial branded line.
