QA36 Snowthrower question
1 Attachment(s)
I got to use the snowthrower this winter after rebuilding it a couple of years ago, and it worked fine until the end cap came out of the auger. (It was fun until then, when the vibrations became a little alarming!) Does anyone know how this thing is supposed to be fastened? I was thinking about tapping it back in with some epoxy putty.
thanks in advance, |
I had to replace a shaft on a QA36 I used to own and if memory serves that cap is suppose to be stiched welded around the circumferenc of the plate. I would just remove the augar and tap shaft and plate back in and put 3 or 4 small stitch welds on it. Little coat of paint and you will be ready for the next snowfall. :beerchug:

Thanks for the input.
