Plow and disc
 

Well I got the plow and disc today,im realy excited about getting everything loosened up and using them.

I need help on how to measure to see what size it is.
and im sure ill have tons of other questions.

This is an 8 inch bottom.

I found that if you can put some weight on top of the tandem, It will cut better. On mine, I attached the back disks solid with the front, put a large concrete brick and then attached a pipe to the back with chains to smooth out the ground.

Its going to be fun freeing up the nuts and bolts and adjuster?? !! Im going to start tonight on the pb blaster treatment!!

Thought of another question,
Is there any way to get an idea what this plow was manufactured for? OR were they manufactured a bit different through the years?
I just spent the better part of an hour between ebay and stinking goggle and none Ive seen have the "flat spot" on the arm? that attaches to the tractor or the weird adjuster that looks like a vice handle!!
That leads me to my final 2 questions !!, Does anyone have a pdf manual on the setup and adjustment of this fine piece of machinery,and where can I educate myself on the different terms for this plow shuch as share,moldboard and the disk thing with a name I cant pronounce let alone sell!! As a matter of fact can someone spell and rite out coutier???? "the disk thing !!" phonetically.

Hey 67hydro.

Yours is like mine. Its just an early model. They look a little different. If you go to the brinley web site you can download the moldboard plow manual that helps a bunch with all the terms and adjustments. The manual will have the newer style pictured but its the same as far as how to adjust.
