Headphones
 

I am thinking about getting a headphone radio . Has anyone have any advise as to witch ones are good or witch ones not to buy? I want good quality and most of all good radio reception . I have had a couple cheep sets that you would have to hold your head at just the rite place to get them to come in . The people driving buy would look at you a little funny . The wife bought me a pair of these. Seem to work good, and have decent reception, fit real tight also.

These do not have the built in radio but plug them into a smartphone or iPod and you have radio. I use these at work almost every day and they work great. I have had them over 6 months and still work like brand new. After I got them a couple other guys got them too and they swear by them.

I have a set of wireless Bluetooth compatible headphones and I keep my music on my phone. Works great!

Couldn't you also just get an inexpensive brand of headphones (but still good DB rating) and use the ear buds under them? I've done that before to listen and mow at the same time.

I have a set of radio headphones kinda like Zippy posted. They work really good as a radio. They do have a jack that I can plug into my phone and stream Pandora, but I can't get enough volume out of them when plugged into my phone. The problem with them seems to be that when you use the plug, there isn't a separate setting for aux. You just turn the radio on with no volume. I would suggest if you get a set, you find some that have a different setting for the aux plug. :beerchug:

If radio reception (due to ignition interference) becomes a problem, try I Heart Radio on your smart phone.

I have the same set as Todd and I have used them for years and they work pretty good. Just have to change batteries every so often.

I am leaning towards Zippys 3M's they look simple and if they work thats good. Thanks for all the reply's Bruce S.:beerchug:

I heart.com + my smartphone + my cheapo headphones works super. But most of the time I just use my I-pod + headphones. My I-pod has 600+ pre selected songs that I picked & chose. Not 1 full album just the songs I like.

No need to buy headphones with a transistor radio built in ($$$$) that most of the time has iffy reception.
