50A Deck
1 Attachment(s)
I guess a 50A deck isn't meant for a Super! :bash2: Hmmm, now what am I going to do?!:bigthink:

All you need to do is swap out the top pulley from any C deck because of the bigger belt.
A 50" deck does fit a Super , you have something wrong somewhere. My other brother Darrell. |

There are two sets of holes in the subframe to put the deck hangers in , one set is farther forward . The hangers go in that set of holes. Your spring loaded bars should line up in the back of the subframe.
Your subframe also needs to bolted in the very back set of holes in the mule drive. The deck is not supposed to set quite that far back , something isn't right somewhere. You do not have to bend/cut the gauge wheel. There may be a manual on here that shows how to set it up on a Super. Call me if you need more help , 660-841-5647. I talk better than i type. Darrell |
Hi, Do you have the correct "mower adapter" for the deck/tractor? I have a feeling you have the incorrect adapter. Mower adapter #361 is the one needed for my 2182 and my 50C mower and everything fits just fine. Just looked up 2072 and #361 is the adapter you should have. Don

I am going by memory , but isn't all the " adaptor kit " is the deck hangers are longer for a Super and you also got a long small rod looking thing that set against the belt ??
I just used the hangers from a 60" deck and i never had the rod that set against the belt. |
I think something is wrong. Nothing should be up against the belt. Are you using the adapter from a 60 Deck? Don
Pictures could help. |
Here is some pics of the setup i had under my 1872 with a 50C deck.
Are you trying to use the subframe from a 60" deck ??? Pretty sure the subframe is totally different. http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps43e18b27.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...pse05fe58a.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps97c2091e.jpg |
Adapter package 361 consists of the correct belt, longer adjustable lift links for a Super , and a " belt guide rod " ( the bar thingy i was talking about ) , and bolts/nuts for belt guide rod.
I never had a belt guide on my deck and the belt never jumped off. Got this info from a 50C owners manual. |
Thanks for all of the info! :beerchug: I'm going to need to take a look at things tonight when I get home and compare the pictures I see here... if things still don't look right I'll take a bunch of pictures and post them here and maybe we can all figure it out! :High5:
Hey! My other brother Darrell, where's Larry? LOL!! :biggrin2::LMAO1: |
