What's up with this paint?

Picked up some paint at the NAPA. Below are some samples I dobbed out on a piece of tin. They are thick, but the yellow and the 901 seem to have precipitated out some darker particles.

Im guessing when its sprayed at normal thickness this wont happen, but I have painted quite a few cars (years ago) and never remember anything like this.

Any insights? Also, the 901 seems to have a little greenish tint to it. Not sure it will be noticeable on an implement, but on this sample it is.

(iphone pics are hard to get colors to show)

The different color pigments in the paint don't apper to be mixed very well. I would take it back and have them mix it a little better.

Try a mixing paddle in a drill, or make one out of heavy wire or cleaned welding rod. It looks like that's all it needs. Remember to strain it when you fill your gun. I like to shoot it a little on the thick side.

Yeeter is that the martin senior paint? I've been debating on which to buy and thought about that. Can you elaborate on what kind it is and how it sprays out, dries, etc? Obviously thought of going with PPG but just wondering about pros and cons and of course price

It is Alvy. Will post an update once I shoot it, havent gotten to it yet. Went with urethane with catalyst and hardener to go with it. By no means is it cheap so hoping it performs well.

Stay tuned.
