Bird hit the window tonight so the wife wheeled er' out the door to help the little thing.
Held it for awhile and set it down and flew off. Knocked itself loopy! Cool bird up close.

Birds will do that sometimes.

Another great save!!!:beerchug: I saw an episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond" in which Robert's future mother-in-law did a mercy kill of a bird that did just that during their Thanksgiving episode......thank goodness that she wasn't there when that happened to the oriole. :biggrin2:

I personally believe that we were given the gift of free will to be the caretakers of the world, to help it out and each other out, and your wife did just that.....KUDOS to your wife! Now go treat that wonderful lady to a night on the town.

Zippy had the same thing happen a few years ago with a Rose Breasted Gross beak. Knocked himself silly running into the deck door. Wish I could find the pic of him. Held him for a while and set him in the yellow cherry tree then he flew off after a couple minutes. It is way cool holding such a pretty bird.

Did it come from Baltimore?
