Michigan transplant
Hello there! I'm Jason and I've been a lurker on here for a little bit and finally decided to join the site.
A little about me; I was born and raised in north Idaho and moved to Michigan in 2011 for my job. When I moved I was in the market for a good garden tractor, I was fairly certain it would be a green one too. Cub Cadets aren't that popular in the northwest so I hadn't even considered one.
Well a friend, who has a 2518, got me interested in Cubs. I picked up a red IH 782 in 2012 and loved it. I recently sold it to a gentleman who was looking for a retirement toy, but I replaced it with a 1872. It had a blown motor so I've decided to do an awesome repower; Kohler Command 28hp EFI! I'll be sure to make a build thread. Thanks all for your help, past, present, and future.
