2082 782d interchangeability
 
Looking at a 2082 roller will all my sheetmetal and dash and such from my 782d bolt onto it. Have stuff to stretch my smoker but a bolt on would b easier

Finish it off with a drive shaft out of an 1864 and you'll have one sweet Super smoker.

Nice thing is you can use the 2082 fuel tank just like they do in the 1782's, just put a tee in the vent cross over hose for your fuel return. You can use the Cyclops power steering and it can be converted to the fixed column with a coupler that Woodward steering makes for race cars and a section of muffler pipe. If you need more info on this stuff let me know and I'll help you out. Glad to see you going this way rather than trying to stretch the 782.

Havnt got it yet but working on it... doesnt someone riund here have some drive shaft couplets also?

Yep I can hook you up with the adapter for the Kubota and the adapter for the pump.

Yup^ Only thing is the fuel tank will only work with the 2082 fenders. Might look interesting with the 782 sheetmetal in the front:bigthink:

I'm going to do that on my 582D project I'm working on. Cyclops fenders and tank, '82 series hoods and dash, with power steering off an 1864. :beerchug:

Well im goin to get it tomorrow its missin the engine and power steering but i allready got the power steering for the 782 anways. The guy said the plastic is shot also
