Which one to buy? A 125 or 127
Hey Guys and Gals!
I have an opportunity to buy a Cub 125 or 127 and am not sure which one offers more in the way of attachments, options, etc. They both run great and are all original. Could I please get some opinions? I am new at this and developed Cub fever on April 28, 2014. I'm currently restoring an 86 and its a blast. extremewhitetail@yahoo.com Thanks M. Knight:bigthink: |
:Welcome2: Welcome! I have a 125 and a 127 parts tractor. I verrryyy much enjoy my 125 because it has the hydro lift. I know that the 127's had an optional electric lift but dont know much about it. You will enjoy either one. Good luck!

They both are narrow frames and "options" would work on either one.

:Welcome2:If you have the Yellow Fever, then the solution is simple....get them both!! You won't have any regrets that way. No, I know that funding doesn't always allow for that.....so, either one would be a great tractor to have and use. Post some pictures and I'm sure more comments/advice will follow.

:Welcome2: I know this doesn't answer your question, but welcome to OCC. I'm sure you will be happy with either choice. Please post pics once you have nailed down one (or two).

Welcome to OCC!
Not much difference between the two. Get both!:beerchug: |
The 127 is the next generation of the 125.
125 has internal brake 127 has external disc brakes on each rear axle. 127 has a tubular pto lever on the left versus the bar style on the right of the 125. Which is sometimes a knuckle knocker to work. Those and different fenders, hood and seats are about the only differences. |
I like the fender pan/foot rest arrangement on the 127 over the 125 - just personal preference.

Welcome to OCC! I'd get them both also. :beerchug:
