For the second time in a month...the internet went down. This time on a Saturday night and no repairs until just a few minutes ago.

Who do you have? I'm guessing Comcast or Cox. Are you in a rural area? :bigthink:

My ISP is CenturyLink.

First time, I got hit by lightning at it traveled through the phone lines. Took out the interface, modem, router, and a PC. Now, a brand new modem that died.

I also have CenturyStink, they suck and that's being polite.

Through the phone line? So would I be right in guessing you have DSL?

I've never heard of CenturyLink, does the brochure come in the AARP welcome packet. :biggrin2::biggrin2:
