125 Hydro drive problems

Hello I have a 125 with a weird problem. If I keep the engine at low
Rpm's it will drive forward and reverse, but at soon as I rev it very much
over idle it loses all drive. Throttle back down try to go again and after a few
seconds it will go again. Just changed to fluid and cleaned all the gunk
out. Any ideas what could be wrong. Or what to check/adjust.

Did you change the Hydro Filter..???

No the filter I got was to long and wouldn't fit, so I will have to return it tomorrow and get and different one

Well, start with the filter. If it doesn't fix it, let us know.

:biggrin2:Yup. I just went through the exact same issues with mine. You need to change the filter and all should be well! Good luck!

Got the filter changed and it works. Now to work the bugs out of the carb.
Thanks for the advice I would have never guessed that a filter would caused it to
do that.

If you don't mind the mess it would be fun to cut the old filter open to see just what is inside...
