New (to me) 102
3 Attachment(s)
Hello there fellas... Just wanted to post a few pics of the 102 I just picked up the other day. It came with the sleeve hitch, deck, cultivator, front blade, and brinly 1 bottom plow along with the rear lift. I'm new to this, but have always had a fascination with old tractors and figured I had to start somewhere. Already own a '38 Allis B and a '48 Farmall cub... Any input is appreciated!

I have had a fascination with that model but only since the mid 70s. My son EricR and I have just restored mine last fall. As with many other cubs those old 102s are real workhorses. Mine is currently not scheduled for any particular duty except to sit and look pretty. Yea it is pretty much a trailer queen at the moment. Neither my son nor I want to put the first scratch in that beautiful new paint. We actually have 2 102s and the other one is still in its work clothes. This one was my dads tractor.

Welcome to OCC! Nice 102, you have there.

Thank you!
Thank you! I have been looking around this site for a while now. Overall, the tractor is in pretty good shape. It has a leaky float, so a carb rebuild is first on the menu. It still runs good, but tends to flood itself out at low rpm. Looks like someone modified the battery box to take a larger battery, so I'm going to have to try to fix that up. I think I got a pretty good deal on it, considering everything that came with it.

Thank you
Thank you! I'm new to the cub thing, but have had the itch to start a fleet for a while now. I have started it up and ran it around the yard and tried the mower. The motor does smoke just a wee bit out of the breather on start up. Should I be concerned about that?
