I have looked and looked and I cannot find the fuse. Can someone point me in the right direction. My meter just died so now I have no multimeter. :bash2::bash2:

Per....... http://www.cubcadet-parts-direct.com...FVFgMgodj1cABQ

The fuse is in the Battery Compartment area.

Thanks, I found it. It was good.

The fuse was good but the fuse holder is not. The fuse holder was loose on the blade and it melted the holder. Just got to replace the holder.

Got the fuse holder replaced. Tractor will crank now, run for 3-5 seconds and then die. Anyone have a similar problem? It appears fuel related. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

Assuming your fuse is still intact I would see if the carb is getting fuel. pull the fuel line at the carb, get something small to catch fuel, crank it and see if the gas is getting that far at a decent rate. If so then clean carb, maybe a sticky float

Also maybe shorted Kill wire but I don't think it would last 5 seconds, more like 1-2 seconds.

Goodluck

I have been working on 1872 and I got it going. It had green stuff in the bowl.

I removed the fuel line at the pump when it goes to the carb and it was pumping a good stream. I have to work the next 2 weeks so it will be the weekend after that before I can work on it. Thanks for the input.

Green stuff in the bowl sucks. Green stuff on the wires is even worse. :biggrin2:
