We will see how it works. Thinking about snow helps on these 90+ days.

Tim

You are officially on notice that if we have a nasty winter it's your fault for being the first one to wish for snow. Me I'm all good with 90's. :biggrin2:

Cub looks good. :beerchug:

What year is that? :bigthink: The large gas cap and the hydraulics tell me a few years into production (I didn't think they fitted hydraulics to Cubs until a few years into production). If I had to guess, I'd say 1954?

Either way, very good looking machine! :beerchug:

What a sharp looking machine. Nice work!

As for Hydraulics - I don't have a lot of background with Cubs, but have a 49 that does.

While I grew up around several of them, and spent time with my dad when he restored his 1947 low serial Cub, I was young so I didn't pick up everything I could have :biggrin2: That being said, I do know when they were first introduced in 1947, hydraulic lift was not an option. Instead, it was a manual lift with spring assist and a rear ballast. I'm not sure what year hydraulics were introduced, but they did discontinue using that grill style in 1954, if memory serves. So that there Cub is somewhere between 1949?-1954.

Somewhere in there they had the exhaust lift system as well.
