Agreed.... but the muffler is from a "green" tractor. :bigthink:

the muffler looks like its off an older cub.

Yeah, I think your right.... I was just looking at the side outlet. That's what Deere used. But looking closer, it does look like the cub muffler.

Quietline engine will work. I have a k301aqs in my 1211, isn't factory but purrs like a kitten! Think I'd change that muffler kinda hard on side panels like that. Least put some kind of elbow on it. Wish that she was closer to me, I 'd find a way to hide it from the wife! Lol!

Might be a cub muffler but i bet it's a JD motor with the thick oil pan. If you use a motor with the thick pan it bolts right to the plate and the drive shaft lines up. Mike
