Added some goodies to the 100

As some of you may know I just got home from my kidney transplant. So I have plenty of spare time on my hands. My wife is the best and helped me work on the 100 a little today. A couple weeks ago I got some AG tires off CL, but they had some over spray on them. I took some lacquer thinner and a mild wire brush, and about 20 minutes later per tire, they looked great.

I also got a new steering wheel off ebay a couple weeks ago. I think it was $50 or so. My old one had missing pieces and was very chaulky. It would turn your hands black after only a minute or two of driving the tractor.

I just ordered some deestone 3 ribs for the front. When I get those on the 100 will look awesome. Then once I get my deck fixed, I'll have a sweet mowing machine.

Very nice but take it easy Bud, you don't want to screw something after the operation.

Good for you, ...and the wife too!

It's great to be able to add something to our tractors, to make them, "just a little better", and also personal. Also, from someone that's had congestive heart failure, it's wonderful to be able, to just "putter" at what we like so well!

I hear ya Sam, I'm taking it easy. Really just walking around. I can only sit in front of the TV so long. And nobody is really on OCC in the middle of the day, so I gotta do something.

Your 100 is looking nice, Brent!

Adding goodies is good, what is next?

Looks great Brent. I thought about that same wheel I've seen it on ebay, decent price too. Cool to see it on a tractor. Did your wife change it? Good woman if she did! Glad to see you're getting around. Get well soon.

Ya know I sure would like a headlight panel. Fenders would be nice, but I just can't justify the price of them. I Could see spending $100 for the headlights though.

My steering wheel popped right off. Unlike my 1650 I'm working on. Ebay had 2 style steering wheels and I thought this one looked more "original" I would definitely buy this steering wheel again.
