My first ever CCC/MTD
Yea, pretty good day today in OCC land. Picked up a 1211 for a Lew price! It was told to me it even runs and drives. No mower deck, but has an "ok" deluxe seat. Missing one side panel, and the light panel. Going to need a good go-through and clean up. Engine looks complete too. Has the sub frame for a mower deck. Has hyd. lift.
I seen it there and picked it up for the Good Year turf 23x10.5 x 12 rear rims and tires because they are in fantastic shape. One front tire is flat because the bead is broke. Also in the deal comes a 1450 in complete condition. Got to pick that one up tomorrow! I have never seen better/nicer sheet steel, so with out a doubt this was kept in a barn! Then for the weekend, I plan to go get my model 86!!!!!!! Any information on the 1211 would be helpful. Thanks guys! :American Flag 1: |

Lew, you have a good sense of humor! This is my first CCC/MTD Cub Cadet I ever had, spread frame and all. I can honestly say I'm a fan of these ones. This is just a kick-but garden tractor!
Ok Jimbob, here you go: Here, in this picture you see the engine identification sticker. Thank you Sam! edit: A few quick details,... engine oil appears to have just been changed. Guess it would be safe for a test fire? Also the tractor rolls right along as should with out engine running. I assume it has the auto-release check valves. I might have to move my nice model 86 in hopes for any parts needed for this 1211. We'll see. |

3136 hours?!!? :bigeyes: If that's accurate and the engine hasn't been overhauled before, that is a very proud amount of hours to have on an engine. Thanks for the pics, looks like a great machine. BTW, it's a Mag12 in there :beerchug:
