Deck questions
 

My 124 only has the small (and rotted) original deck....so I've not seen all the different types CC made.
Can I modify any one to fit it....because I want a 48" or larger under it.
I can modify anything, but I'm wondering if the WF, QL, or super decks will even fit underneath, and clear the wheels.....and if it can be done.
Or, can I just find a particular 48"deck that just slide in?

The 44A deck might fit with the right combination of subframe and mule drive, but you'll struggle to get it to lift very high. There is less clearance under the NF tractors than under the WFs. The 50A probably won't even fit under there.

Anything newer will not fit, and that's kind of a moot point because the newer decks pull pretty hard; 12 hp probably wouldn't be enough. Your best bet is to just get a 48" deck that's meant for your 124.
