Welding on the tractor
I need to weld on one of my 3 point arms. I've read you guys talking about disconnecting the v/r on the older tractor. It's just the little bracket that is for the chains on the 3 point arms. The top half is broken off on one of them. Is there anything I need to do before I weld it back on? This is on my 2082.
Thanks, Brent |
Disconnect the battery if your concerned about hurting anything but otherwise just ground as close to the weld as you can and you'll be fine.

you don't want to clamp the ground on the front and weld at the rear. to many paths to disaster. like the others said. keep the ground close to where you are welding
