I bought a second-hand 2166. iIt had been sitting for two years after the owner's kid (and prime-mower) went to college. I'm trying to get it running now. I'm mechanically inclined, but have little experience working on and troubleshooting small engines.

I had not realized that there was such a large group of collectors and restorers of the older cub cadet machines. My main goal is to get it running so I can mow my back yard!

I spent 26 yrs in the marine corps, hence the grunt_usmc moniker
