cast end deck

Will the cast end deck off a 100 work on my 72? I found a good deal on one and wanted to double check before I jump on it. Thanks

There are 2 different style of pin-on decks. It may or may not. There was an early and a late.

I believe any of the cast end decks will work on your 72.

IIRC it all depends on getting the right mule drive and lift frame to attach it to your machine. There are others here who can tell you exactly what you need to put this together, I however am not one of them.

Do you say this because it won't fit, or because the 7hp won't run the 42?
