Cub Caret 149 Fence Trimmer
3 Attachment(s)
This is my first time to post a photo. Guess we will see if I did it correctly. Foot controlled hydro would really help. How about some ideas to improve upon this? Note, it does pivot up and down and also side to side. The front bracket is only for transporting. I also replaced the stringer head with one that holds .155 line

I like it
Need turn it around, make a round shield above the string and spring load the arm so it pivots around the posts! :beerchug: |
The grass coated front tire tells me you been using it already.
I salute your creativity. :beerchug: Now you need a drink holder on the other side to balance out the weight. One that holds a pony keg should work good. |
Good idea thank you

Interesting concept. I've seen a trimmer that mounts to the front of a Cub that runs off the PTO.

That's a pretty cool idea!

How about a Video of how this thing works. It looks real interesting.

Wow, a video? I felt lucky that I got the pictures to show up. It works best along long fence lines, it does ok along ditch lines. Doesn't work so well in tight areas. At this point it only swings about a foot or so beyond the mower deck. The trimmer engine swings into the side of the driver. Maybe one of the grandkids could help with a video, the oldest is 8.
