Drop a 350 Cummins, a 13 speed road ranger and a set of Rockwell 44,000LB rears in it and your good to go, used to do that with Kenworth W900's. Actually the last one we did we took the running gear from an International and made it a KW.

That is nice, proof that they're still out there.
A guy I know was just telling me he used to be an owner/operator in the 70's, and was in the million mile club all in a cab over with 350 cummins. Talked about the coldest run he did was in North Dakota, 50 below zero, kept having to dump kerosene in the tanks, and his whole windshield cracked because of the temp difference between the cab and outside. He had some cool stories. |
