Anybody can Custom fit your own belt. This could be an option for us.

Check out this link. I have no ties to this product, I also have never used it. Looks like a great option for DIYers that don't want to mess with removal of extra things to replace a belt.
Looking for comments.

Those are junk. Only work for light duty loads. Factories seem to like them, but they don't do well under heavy loads.

I'm glad somebody has heard of these. I was hoping for feed back good or bad. It looks like a good idea, but if it is junk don't buy one. It is not an option in my case cause I have other work to do regardless.
Thanks for the comment.

They are OK for light duty loads and temporary use like when you bust a belt and don't have the correct belt in stock.

Thanks for the feed back guys. I haven't seen them before and thought if I posted about them here I could get some responses on their usefulness or lack there of.

So is the S/G belt considered light duty?

You may be able to get away with one on the SG but if it was my tractor I'd use the proper belt.

Cool, makes sense.

I have one on my old Craftsman table saw.
It does transmit more torque than the standard v-belt.
Running 1hp anyways.

They might work okay in other straight line apps like on the S/G just fine.
But not for say the deck drive belt on a CC with the 90 degree twist, etc.

it might just be me but i can tell from looking at the pic that i wouldn't trust it on a mower.
