44A deck use with an 1862

Is it possible to fit a 44A deck onto the muledrive from a 50C deck?

Reason being is that the 50C is a bit too wide for some parts and I would like to use the 44A with my 1862. Are the pulleys different size (1/2" on the deck and 5/8" on the 1862 PTO)?
